American Metal Craft also provides surface finishing in #4 to #7 finishes:

• #4 Architectural Surface Finish
  This finish commonly has fine polishing lines that are uniform in appearance. It is produced by polishing the metal with appropriate grit compounds using a belt or wheel.
• #4 Sanitary Surface Finish:
  This finish is used primarily for stainless steel in the medical and food industries. It is much finer than an architectural finish produced via abrasives with a belt or wheel, followed by a non-woven abrasive belt or pad. This finish is sometimes referred to as a brushed finish. The metal retains some, but not all, of its metallic luster with very fine lines or small scratches all running in the same direction. Common brushed finish metals include stainless steel and nickel.
• #7 Surface Finish:
  This finish is a semi-bright finish that will still have some polishing lines, but they will be very minor. This is an economical option when a polished part needs to be shiny but not flawless. Carbon steel and iron are commonly polished to this finish before chrome plating. This finish can be made bright by secondary buffing methods.
